O2 emc developed utility scale solar farms across North Carolina and Virginia. A fundamental part of O2’s development strategy was to maximize the local impact on the communities surrounding its projects. O2 pioneered the design of solar farms to allow for sheep to safely graze on the pastures underneath the solar panels, creating grazing opportunities for local farmers and experiential learning opportunities for schools and universities.

O2 energies is a holding company for a portfolio of 10 operating utility scale solar farms in North Carolina. All current development of new solar and energy storage projects is done through O2 emc.
